Cuppies for a party!

.....Well, I'm just not ready to share my cupcake recipe yet ... and I'll tell you why . I .. Lisamarie . Hate cake. You heard me . I hate cake .

So. In my kitchen , I have formulated a recipe for cake that I will actually eat .. ok well white cake is a litttttle bit easier for me and I will eat it at SOME places  but chocolate cake especially I will eat no one else's but my own .. but today, I decided to just give you a small picture update , as I spent the morning in the kitchen preparing a  couple batches of cupcakes for a christmas celebration :)

I'm sorry that I am just not willing to part with my recipe just yet , but don't worry it is so labor intensive that you probably wouldn't want to try it anyway .. haha !..

 These little Holiday gems are my very own white cake recipe , filled with raspberry filling and topped with my "House" buttercream, which is Amaretto .. YUM !

With any luck tomorrow, I'll post some more .. hopefully a recipe and maybe some more  cupcakes to go along with  it .. I have some left overs and a hankering for pineapple buttercream! So.. lets make it one for my baby, and one more ... for the road .. enjoy your day loves!

Old Fashioned Sugar Cookies

Hello My Lovlies!

Well tonight , I came home, even though after work , I was supposed to work at my second job at a cute cupcakery ... anyway well I broke my foot and directed by my urgent care doctor to stay off it, I came home to see my Mom's Favorite Sugar Cookie recipe open on the kitchen table.. She immediately asked if I would make the cookies for her . Instantly I responded with a curt "No! ..... On second thought... yes... "

At that very instant I decided that while these ARE NOT by any means my favorite cookie .. I mean they might not even fall in my top 10 .. they would be the perfect beginning to my blog ... They are in fact , Sugary, colorful, crisp, yet not my ideal soft lofty sugar cookie, so for me they are... Semi-Sweet....

Welcome All........ and .. me..

Well .. Hello there... is .. this thing on ....? 

Tonight I decided , after much consideration ... and an impulse post on my fb/twitter - followed by an overwhelming positive response ..... to start, This , Food blog.

Expect some serious typo's ... so many things misspelled... Oooh , it could be a total mess for a good long while .. What I hope to do eventually is to  be more like the Pioneer Woman ! .. If you've never seen her blog www.thepioneerwoman.com you are not only missing one of my favorite sites on the entire interdweeb... you are missing some of the BEST recipes and stories and photos.. Oh man .. why are you even still here! ? Go look.. NOW ..

No ! Wait! Finish .. then go look  :)

So on with my thought, I would like to review recipes, restaurants, new foods that I try ... ( In addition to that , I'd LOVE if you all would send in YOUR thoughts/reviews that you'd like me to post, and so on as well ). As soon as I come up with a format for that to work , I will post that and begin that asap!
